Here's what to expect:
This course starts with an introduction where we will look at how businesses in Scotland play an important role in UN Sustainable Development goals and how this is reflected by tendering requirements and your supply chain.
Now that you understand that sustainability is dependent on 3 aspects (pillars), we will take a look at the sustainability criteria and how you can benchmark your business against these.
Using the output of benchmarking, we will look at how to create a plan to deal with any gaps identified.
It's important to takes society with you on your sustainability journey, so we will look at how to use this to the max and discuss how this can help grow you business.
You might not achieve everything you want in a year. We will look at the PDCA cycle and how this can help you be more agile and build on what you’ve already achieved so you don’t miss out on the potential that sustainability brings to your business.
