Having worked with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for 18 years, I decided to start my own business based on my environmental regulation, systems design, training and management experience so that I could provide a freelance service to businesses that want to do more to protect their environment and be compliant with environmental regulations.

I didn't start this journey alone. 

I originally formed 'Anderson Swan Hunter'  (ASH) along with 2 other amazing women.  We learned a lot and supported each other through the first few years of running our business.  That was four years ago and although the founding Directors have taken different paths I still wanted to remember my business roots. 

ASHURES in a way is an evolution of where it all started and reflects the service I offer; 'Auditing and Specalist Help for your Environment and Sustainability.

Yes, I evolved too. I learned more, I studied more and I achieved more in the last 4 years than I ever thought I would.  So, now with my Lead Auditor qualifications for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 to compliment my 20 years enviornmental compliance and systems experience, I can now provide the holistic service that my clients look for.

I quickly found that there is so much interaction between protecting the environment and human health that I needed to gain the qualifications and knowledge that would allow me to align both.  I'm not saying it was easy to to do!  I was delighted and some what relieved to pass the NEBOSH general certificate with credit. 

This means that I can provide specialist freelance support for auditing, training and management of Health, Safety and Environment.  It also means that I have the skills to create my own online systems management tool that makes creation, use of documentation and training required to manage your business systems easier.

I am delighted to work with a network of professionals.  Between us we are sure we can help  your sustainability journey.
